I wrote this book to invite children into a special relationship; one that is available to everyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The stories, based on biblical truth, flow from the Creation of the world to the Ascension of Jesus, as a grandmother shares her faith with her grandchildren in story-telling style. My hope is that while reading this book, parents and children will grow in faith and in their love for Jesus. It is my hope that these stories will help them to know that He is waiting with open arms to become a friend to each and everyone who welcomes Him into their heart. And I want them to discover, as I have, that through a friendship with Jesus, we can face any obstacles that come our way on the journey of life
